The playback controls are positioned on the Player bar. Use these controls to operate the playback tasks:

  • Open Open. Lets browse to select a media file, a DVD-ROM drive (or folder with DVD files) to playback.
  • Play Play. Starts the playback of the disc or the currently selected file in the playlist.
  • Stop Stop. Stops the current playback.
  • Pause Pause. Pauses/resumes the current playback.
  • Next Next. Jumps to next chapter (DVD mode). Jumps to next file in the playlist (VIDEO mode).
  • Previous Previous. Jumps to the previous chapter (DVD mode). Jumps to the previous file in the playlist (VIDEO mode).
  • Forward Forward. Searches the disc in fast forward mode. If you click on the button once, it will fast forward in 2x speed. If you click it two times, it will fast forward in 4x, etc. Click Play to restore the 1x speed.
  • Backward Backward. Searches the disc in fast backward mode. If you click on the button once, it will fast backwards in 2x speed. If you click it two times, it will fast forward in 4x, etc. Click Play to restore the 1x speed.
  • 3D Surround Settings 3D Surround Settings. Opens 3D Sound effect's settings dialog box
  • Playback progress Playback progress. Drag the slider to move to any moment of the movie (some DVDs may have this function disabled!).

  • Volume Volume. Adjusts the output volume.

  • Balance Balance. Adjusts the sound balance between the left and the right audio channels.

  • Repeat Repeat. Repeats the playback of the entire playlist when the last video file in the playlist is finished.
  • Shuffle Shuffle. Shuffles the order of the files in the playlist.
  • Effects on/off Effects on/off. Turns on/off the video and audio effects mode.
  • Mute Mute. Turns on/off the audio.
  • Capture frame Capture frame. Captures the current moment of the movie to a frame.
  • Capture series Capture series. Captures the current movie episode to a series of frames.
  • Audio capture Audio capture. Captures the current audio stream of the movie.
  • Total time indicator Total time indicator. Shows the total time of the movie.
  • Elapsed time indicator Elapsed time indicator. Shows the elapsed time of the movie.
  • DVD title indicator DVD title indicator. Shows the current DVD title and chapter.
  • DVD chapter indicator DVD chapter indicator. Shows the current chapter of the current title.
  • DVD menu DVD menu. Open available DVD menu (Root menu, Audio menu, Angle menu, etc.)
  • Converter Converter. Opens the Converter module.
  • Dubbing Dubbing. Opens the Dubbing.

  • Show/Hide Effects Show/Hide Effects. Lets show and hide the effects panel.

  • Eject Eject. Ejects the disk that is currently inserted in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.
