File Groups

File groups - not a usual but very convenient way to divide the files into groups. Frigate supports any number of file groups. Any file group can have a certain color and Frigate can sort files by groups.

By default Frigate supports 12 file groups:

  • Folders
  • Executables
  • Archives
  • Images
  • Multimedia
  • Source files
  • Тext files
  • Temp files
  • Internet files
  • Office files
  • Database files
  • Unknown

You can easily

  • change the sequence of groups (Ctrl+Up, Ctrl+Down)
  • add a group (Ins)
  • edit a group (F2)
  • delete a group(Ctrl+Del).
  • Here you can change the color of a group. This can be also done in Settings\Color
