Settings
The settings window will be showed when you select Options|Settings command, where you can define various settings for PhotoMark.
General tab page
In General tab page you can define the output format of a picture file after be added by a watermark.
- Same with original file - This option tell PhotoMark do not change the picture format. Currently PhotoMark supports .jpg, .bmp, and .gif formats of picture files.
- Convert to JPEG format - Convert all the picture files to .jpg format, regardless what formats they originally are.
- Convert to BMP format - Convert all the picture files to .bmp format, regardless what formats they originally are.
JPEG format tab page
If your picture files are JPEG files or you select Convert to JPEG format in General tab page, you can custom the compressibility here for the .jpg pictures by dragging the Compressibility indicator, or check before the Keep compressibility checkbox to use the compressibility of original picture files. Picture files other than .jpg format will not be affected by this option. The default value is 100 percent. Also you may choose to assign other file extensions for these JPEG files. By checking the checkbox before Reserve EXIF Information checkbox, the metadata infomation(shutter speed, aperture, focal length and more) in a digital camera generated JPEG file will be saved or copied to the new watermarked JPEG file. Make sure toogle the option when you deal with such files.
BMP format tab page
If your picture files are BMP files or you select Convert to BMP format in General tab page, you can select color settings for the .bmp files from 1 bit, 4 bit (16 color), 8 bit (256 color), 16 bit, 24 bit, and 32 bit, or you may check before the Keep color settings to use the color settings of the original .bmp file. Picture files other than .bmp format will not be affected by this option. The default value is 24 bit. Also you may choose to assign other file extensions for these BMP files.
