Quick Fix Wizard

To launch the Quick Fix Wizard, select it for the Main Menu: Correct >Quick Fix Wizard

This wizard will let you correct very easily and almost automatically all exposure and color problems in a photo.

To start to correct the picture we advise to press the "Suggest" button. This will try to find the best combination of parameters (AutoStretch, Gamma, Contrast, Saturation,Color Cast, Smart Flash and Reduce Hilights) for correcting the picture.

The result will be shown in the preview. If you are satisfied with the result press the "Apply" button, otherwise adjust the sliders to finetune

Quick Fix Parameters:

• The "Auto Stretch" will perform an intelligent histogram stretch, taking in account several different factors like the amount of shift between channels and color density distribution.
• The "Gamma increase" increases the midtones for dark pictures.
• The "Contrast" performs an unlinear stretch operation, changing contrast and at same time preserving highlights and shadows.
• The "Saturation" is provided to give more or less vividness to colors.
• The "Color Cast Detection" tries to find a color cast and to correct it. It's especially effective when the cast to remove is small.
• The "Smart Flash" increases the brightness and color saturation in the shadows locally. More details becoming more visible.
• The "Reduce Hilights" darkens the lights of the image locally. More details becoming more visible.
