Create Selections
To create a selection Focus Photoeditor gives you a variety of tools that can also been used in conjunction.
The Selection Panel:
Let's first take a look to the selections panel in the top toolbar of the program:

From Left to Right the commands present on this panel are:
- Disable Selection (Unselect): use this command to temporarily unselect the picture. This will not loose the current selection. Click it again to reactivate the hidden selection.
- Invert Selection: use this to select the complementary region of the selection, that is actually all pixels that were selected will become unselected and viceversa.
- Undo Selection: if you have made many selections, you can pick a previous one by clicking this undo button.
- Redo Selection: It will pick the next selection in the undo list.
- Select Mode combo box: you can choose if the newly created selections should replace, be added to or be subtracted from the existing one.
- Other commands about selections are present in the Selection menu.
Tools to Create Selections:
Create Selection tools: 
Select by color 
- This selects area of similar color in all the picture, using a tolerance.
Select by Magic Wand 
- This selects area of similar color locally, using a tolerance.
Select by painting 
- You can paint a selection with this tool.
Select by Lasso 
- You can create an irregular region-selection, by defining with a pen its border.
or using geometric selection tools like:
Rectangular, Elliptic, Linear or Pencil selections  |
