Detailed Monitoring Setting
- HTTP(s)
URL: The URL you would like to monitor. If the port is not the default 80, ServerRadar supports 3 HTTP methods, that is, Get, Head and Post. Get, acting like a web server, is usually used in common cases. The head method cannot check the web page contents, so you will only get the header information of the URL via Head. By using Post, ServerRadar will send data to the server and you can define the post data like this: PostName=PostData. Handle Redirects: Handle serverside http redirect You need to fill in the username and password if your server is authentication required. ServerRadar can check on the web page contents to see if the specified keyword properly exists.
- FTP You need to setup FTP server’s address and port. ServerRadar can logon to the FTP server.
- SMTP You need to setup SMTP server’s address and port. ServerRadar can logon to the SMTP server.
- POP3 You need to setup POP3 server’s address and port. ServerRadar can logon to the POP3 server.
- Ping ServerRadar can ping the server. You can setup the timeout value.
- DNS You can use ServerRadar to monitor your DNS server and to verify whether the DNS information is correct. ServerRadar will check the DNS query result; and if the result does not contain the keyword you specify, notifications will be sent to you. Please enter the keyword below.
- Database By using the connection string you specify, ServerRadar can connect to Database server and then run SQL. If the connection or SQL fails, ServerRadar will notify you.
