Email Server
SMTP

The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol allows clients to connect and send E-Mail to people with LiteServe accounts on your server. LiteServe SMTP does not relay messages to other servers.
Message Relaying

This will allow LiteServe to act as an outgoing mail server.
DNS Servers for MX Lookups

In order for LiteServe to be able to do Mail Exchange lookups, DNS servers must be specified for this operation. Your ISP's DNS servers are recommended.
ie. ns1.liteserve.net
ns2.liteserve.net
Max Recipients / Mail

Max Recipients / Mail: This property simply limits the number of recipients an email can have.
Authentication Required

If you select "Authentication Required" from the Relay settings then your users will have to use the SMTP Authentication for outgoing mail settings in their mail client. The username and password used for the authentication are the same as those specified in the account settings.
Forwarding

This allows one email address to be forwarded to another email address. You simply specify the email address to forward from, and the email address to forward to.
ie. Forward from: info@domain.com
Forward to: admin@domain.com
Domains

This list allows LiteServe to distiguish between local email and outgoing mail. LiteServe will accept any mail for local POP3 delivery in which the domain matches a domain in the domains list.
POP3

The Post Office Protocol allows people with LiteServe accounts on your server to connect and check their E-Mail. |
