Stealth Mode (On/Off):
To activate Stealth Mode, you must check this option before setting particular stealth options. Once you've activated Stealth Mode this way, Folder Lock will hide itself from a number of places where it could be found. This feature is useful for people who are very concerned about their privacy. When you activate Stealth Mode, all the stealth options are activated automatically, you can however customized the stealth options according to your needs by checking / unchecking the options given below:
Hide from Desktop & Startmenu:
You can check / uncheck this option depending on whether you want the icons on your Desktop and Startmenu to disappear. When these shortcuts disappear, you can use the hotkey you set below in the stealth mode option to run Folder Lock.
Hide from Add/Remove Programs:
Add/Remove Programs is a Windows feature in the Control Panel, showing the icons of all the programs ever installed on your computer. If you like, you can check /uncheck this option and Folder Lock will stop showing its icon in this list.
Hide from Context Menu in Explorer:
Windows Explorer right-click on a file or a folder shows a context menu where you can see a menu for Folder Lock. Disabling this feature, will remove Folder Lock from the Context Menu for additional privacy.
Hide from Program Files / Install Location:
Make sure that do NOT forget the hotkey you set below if you are activating this stealth option. Folder Lock program files folder, where Folder Lock is installed will be hidden and after this, there will be no other way but to execute the program by using the hotkey.
Set hotkey to run Folder Lock in Stealth Mode:
The most popular hotkey in Windows is CTRL+ALT+DEL, hotkeys are simultaneous combinations of keystrokes to perform a certain task. When you choose a hotkey, make sure that you will have to press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT with the character you choose. For example, If you select 'F' from the dropdown menu, you'll be required to press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F to execute Folder Lock. Note: Do not forget your hotkey if you are activating Stealth Mode. Furthermore, always make sure that no other program conflicts with the hotkey you choose. The best way to do it is to press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+(your key) and check if another program executes.
