File Lock supports multiple user accounts. You can manage user accounts by choosing the "Users..." menu item in the "Tools" menu. Note that only the administrator users of File Lock can manage user accounts.
Add New Account
Add a new user account. In the next dialog box, input the user name and password then click OK to add the user account. If you want to set the user as an administrator, check the option "This is an administrator account.". You can also switch this new created account to administrator account by clicking "Switch Admin" button.
Remove Account
First select any account in the list, then click this button to remove the account.
Important Note:
The account can not be recovered if you removed it. The user can not view his or her locked/hidden items even you create a new account that same to the old account name after you removed the account. The locked/hidden items made by removed user will not be unlocked automatically. If you want to remove the locked/hidden items made by this user after you removed the account, you can check the "Show All Locked Items" in the main window, then unlock all the items that the Owner is blank.
You can not remove the account you currently logged in as, also, you can not remove all the administrator accounts, you must leave at least one administrator account.
Change Password
First select an account in the list, then click this button to change the password for this account.
Switch Admin
First select an account in the list, the click this button to set this account to administrator account, if the account previously is not an administrator account. Or it will set the account to normal account if it is aready an administrator account.
Please note you can not switch all administrator accounts to normal account, you must leave at least one administrator account.
Switch User
Clicking this button will cause the current user to be logged off, and show the login dialog box to let you to login to File Lock again.
