Disguise Folder

This plugin can help you to disguise any of the normal folder as a special folder in Windows. For example: disguise a folder as the Recycled Bin, then anyone open the folder will not get the real contents of folder, but get the contents of the Recycled Bin.

It is recommended to disguise a folder as the "HTML document", choose the item "Disguise as HTML document" in the drop down box of this plugin. A folder that disguised as "HTML document" even can not be opened.

To Disguise A Folder As Special Folder:

Click "Browse" to select a folder, then choose one of the"Disguise as..." in the drop down box. Then click "Apply" button to apply it. If a folder was disguised previously, it can not be disguised again.

To Reset The Disguised Folder To Normal Folder:

Click "Browse" button to select the disguised folder, then choose "Reset to normal state" in the drop down box. Then click "Apply" button to apply it. The folder then will be reset the its previous state. If the folder can not be selected by browsing, you can input the path to the folder directly.

NOTE: The real contents of the folder will never be changed or encrypted, so it is possible for advanced users to get the real contents of the folder even after you disguised the folder. File Lock provides the way for disguising folders, you use at by your own choice.

Windows Vista Special: This plugin will be disabled under Windows Vista, Windows Vista changed its way for customizing special folders.
