Rules

Prisma firewall uses rules for every application or service which use network connections. Every rule contents instructions about actions taking place then any incoming or outgoing traffic for/from this application is appearing. It means that you can allow or deny any network activities for any application installed on your PC. You must remember that denying one-way traffic for some applications they may loose ability to use network at all.

When unknown application starts it network activities Prisma Firewall freezes it and asks you what to do via following dialog:

Here you can deny or allow network activities for this application. Setting option Remember creates global rule which takes effect any time Prisma Firewall is active.

Every existing rule can be edited in application page in main program window. Also you can beforehand create rules for applications you trust. To learn more follow to Interface chapter.
