Global Window
In this window you can add, modify or delete the network access rules that will affect all programs on your computer.
Generally, it is better to use the program rules, because they are more specific and targeted. However, some programs or services are not using the standard network interface and the program rules are not applicable for them. As a result, these programs can not access the network. In such cases, you must use the global rules to allow these programs or services to access the network.
Mil Firewall adds few default global rules here that are useful in most configurations. You are free to change them or turn them off if you are sure that this is exactly what you want. You can also add your own global rules.
If you want to disable certain global rule, you can turn it off by turning off the checkbox next to its name. This is prefereable to the deletion of the rule with Delete button if you are not sure that you will not need this rule in the future.
Use the Add button to add new global rule. Use the Edit button to see the rule details and to change the rule. Finally, use the Delete button to remove the selected global network access rule. |
