Save Information

Overview

Since the first time you run EfficientPIM, by default, your information will be saved in the file 'My Information.eff' in the 'My Document' folder. You can also create other .eff files.

EfficientPIM has no such concept as 'save file'. For example, if you create a new contact, after you enter the contact's information and click the 'Save and Close' button in the new contact window, the information of this contact has been saved to the currently open .eff file. You do not need to click the 'Save' command on the 'File' menu to save the .eff file, and there is no 'Save' command on the 'File' menu.

There may be an '.eff.attach' subfolder in the folder where the .eff file locates. For example, there may be a 'My Information.eff.attach' subfolder in the same folder where the file 'My Information.eff' locates. Generally, you do not need to be concerned about this folder. The 'Save As', 'Backup' or 'Restore' function of the program will automatically copy contents in this folder.

If you need to copy or delete the '.eff' file manually, please copy or delete the '.eff.attach' subfolder together.
