Transition & Music

There are more than 50 transition effects included in our Sothink Photo Album Maker to make your album vivid and dynamic. It enables you to add music and various transition effects to your photos.

Transition Preview

Click a transition effect in the transition effect list and preview it by this window on the top-left.

Transition List

The transition list displays all the transition effects included in this Software, such as morph, iris effect, etc.

Storyboard

If some photos and music have been added, this section will be displayed as:

1. Timeline: Set music start time according to the timeline. More details at: Set Music Start Time.
2. Photo: Display the photo thumbnails you have selected and transition effects. More details at: Edit Photo
3. Music: Display the added music and set music start time here. More details at: Set Music Start Time.
   

Random Select Transition

Click "Random" button to randomly select transition effect for all photos.

Add Music, Set Music Start Time & Change Music Play Order

Add Music

Sothink Photo Album Maker supports MP3, WAV, WMA popular format files.

Click the "Add Music" button;

Choose music from the open dialog box. Supposed that we have added music "New Stories (Highway Blues)" and this music section is as below:

Note: In the same way, you can add as many musics as you like according to your album play time.

Change Music Play Order

• Change music play order if more than one music have been added.
• Click the music need to be reordered and it will change into purple color;
• Drag and drop it to the defined place.

Set Music Start Time

• Click the music bar and it will change into purple color;
• Drag horizontally the purple bar on the "Music" and you will see a vertical blue line which represents the start time of the music play;
• Adjust the blue line according to the timeline above to set the music start time for your album:

Remove Photo, Transition & Music

• Remove a photo, a transition effect or the added music.
• Click the photo, music or transition effect which you want to remove from the timeline frame;
• Click "Remove" button.

Edit Photo & Transition

Edit the photo or the transition effect to your satisfaction.

Edit Photo

1. Click a photo thumbnail which you want to edit in the Photo;
2. Click the "Edit" button, and the edit page will appear. More details at: Edit Photo.
3. Edit Transition Effect: Currently only morph transition effect can be edited.

Apply Transition Effect to Photos

1. Select a transition effect from the transition effect list;
2. Hold down the left key of the mouse and drag and drop the transition effect to the box between the photos in the "Storyboard ", see the illustration below:

Note: When morph effect is applied, the page will be directed to the transition effect edit section. More details on how to edit morph effect at: Edit Morph Effect.

Change Photo Play Order

In the "Photo", drag and drop the selected photo to the defined place.
