Morph
Image morphing is a useful visualization technique. Morphing is an image processing technique used to compute a transformation from one image to another. The process is called "morph" for short. The idea is to create a sequence of intermediate images. When putting these intermediate images together with the original images, it represents the transition from one image to the other.
In a morphing sequence between two faces, the middle images often look strikingly like the both images. Take the below photos for example, it is neither the cat in the first nor the tiger in the end. (See below). The two images in the middle are half influenced by the left and half influenced by the right image and gradually morph to the right image.
Note: Morphing between two images achieves the best results if the images are roughly of the same shape and size.
