Create Audio CD
Audio discs can be created from either .mp3 or .wav source files. Audio discs are recorded in TAO (Track-at-Once) recording mode. TAO is supported by almost every CDR on the market. The .wav files must be 16 bit, stereo, and 44.1khz format in order to be used with the control. MP3 files must be high-quality stereo format with a decent bit rate to get good results. The disc and session must be closed to allow playback on 'normal' CD players. This is done automatically by the software. MP3 tracks will be decompressed on-the-fly during recording unless the Cache/Decode files locally option is checked. Some systems are too slow for on-the-fly decoding, or the files may be from a network location (slowing performance). In these cases, use the caching ability for error free recording.
