Est. size
|
This field displays how big the files will be on the Video-DVD and how much space there is on the Video-DVD. The size on Video-DVD may be lower than the original size that is displayed in the field above. This is because Movie Shrink & Burn will automatically create smaller copied of your original files if they would not otherwise fit onto the Video-DVD.

Movie Quality
|
This is one of the most important fields in the screen. It shows the estimated quality the movies will have on the Video-DVD. If the original files already fit on the Video-DVD and if they already have the selected output format, then this field will display Unchanged, because it is not necessary to convert the files or change the quality. However, if the files have to be converted, then this field will show the quality you can expect from the resulting files. Smaller files usually have worse quality.
TIP: Add as many files as you like, until the movie quality indicator at the bottom reaches the lowest quality you find acceptable.
The quality field can display the following values:
- Unchanged: The files are not converted, so the quality does not change.
- Great (75-99): The movies will appear to be almost perfect and have a high resolution for sharp details.
- Good (50-74): There movies look good. There are no obvious distortions and the resolution is still pretty good.
- Medium (25-49): Some distortions may appear now and then and the resolution is in a medium range. That means that the movies may sometimes appear a little blurred and very small details can be lost.
- Low (0-24): There can be obvious distortions and the resolution is low.
- Can not fit: This is displayed if the selected movies can not fit on the Video-DVD, even at the lowest quality setting. You will have to either remove some of the files or enter a larger number of Video-DVDs to use.

Max. number of Video-DVDs to use
|
Here you can enter how many Video-DVDs the program is allowed to use to fit in all the movies you selected.
Note: Please note that if all the movies fit onto less Video-DVDs at the highest quality then the less Video-DVDs will be used |
